This Novell sponsored Linux project wants to “create and distribute the world’s most usable Linux.” With kick start of this new year, they have started major development into the next version of OpenSUSE 11.0. An alpha version has been released for download and testing on the OpenSuse site. 

Some of the major developments in this release will be integrating KDE 4.0 and major changes to the appearance of the Installer.

According to their roadmap, openSUSE 11.0 is set for public release on June 19, 08.
