Matt Heaton, CEO & President of BlueHost claims growing pains for a series of support problems since Dec 20 of last year. Claiming unprecedented signups (more than 850 a day), forced upgrades of CPanel (presumablely from security issues), PHP upgrade from 4 to 5 and Apache 1.3x to 2.2x on all servers created perfect storm of problems for BlueHost.
Nice to hear BlueHost and their CEO fess up to their problem. When they’re growing as fast they are, you can expect problems but not apologies. So nice round of applause to BlueHost.

At DOMAINfest Global later this month, OverSee will demonstrate the integration where SnapNames Live will lead and conduct the auction, with Moniker providing valuation and escrow services.
